We unboxed and prepped 17 ceiling speakers at a construction site for a new arcade. Laying everything out on the floor gave us a chance to check each speaker and connection before the equipment goes overhead.
Next comes installation and tuning. For now, everything is ready, and we are looking forward to hearing the room once the system is powered up.
Final testing on an AV rack built into an existing cupboard at a downtown Sparks site. Space was tight, but ten rack units hold the system supporting seven TVs, two microphones, and overhead speakers for the main room and outdoor patio.
The electrical contractor provided dedicated, isolated power to help keep hum and noise out of the system. The HVAC contractor added through-wall cooling so the closed cabinet receives fresh, filtered air and the equipment stays cool.
We also installed extra connection points throughout the rooms for karaoke, DJ nights, trivia, and whatever comes next. The site is quickly becoming a local favorite, and the infrastructure is ready without having to reopen walls later.
