Warehouse 5 does more than deploy technology. As your managed service provider, we take ongoing ownership of the systems we recommend, including operation, maintenance, monitoring, and support. That responsibility removes day-to-day technology burdens from internal teams and keeps each solution performing as intended.
We are not tied to a single manufacturer. We select the right technology for each environment based on performance, reliability, supportability, and long-term value.

These partners represent only a small fraction of the partnerships and dealership statuses across our portfolio. We are proud to offer the technology that works best for each customer.
Our evolution
Since 2008, Warehouse 5 has evolved from live-event production support into a full-service technology company serving complex organizations throughout the region and across the country. The company’s capabilities have expanded, but the foundation remains the same: practical solutions, direct communication, and accountable service.
After a decade supporting community theater and dance productions, Warehouse 5 Events was founded to take on professional concerts, nightclub installations, and music festivals. Early services included lighting, audio, staging, rigging, and technical production.
Infrastructure quickly became one of the company’s strongest capabilities. Warehouse 5 progressed from supporting one- and two-acre events to building power and Wi-Fi systems for festivals covering 60, 90, and eventually more than 600 acres. These temporary environments demanded rapid deployment, broad coverage, and dependable performance under difficult conditions.
The skills developed across massive festival grounds proved ideally suited to hospitality Wi-Fi. In 2013, Warehouse 5 secured its first contract supporting a nationwide hotel chain and began adapting its large-scale wireless systems for permanent hotel installations.
Success in hospitality led to opportunities in warehouse distribution. The company began designing Wi-Fi for lift-truck environments where constant movement, large facilities, and uptime-sensitive operations created challenges that conventional wireless systems could not reliably solve.
As the work expanded beyond events into hotels, distribution centers, RV parks, and other permanent installations, Warehouse 5 Events became Warehouse 5 and continued operating as a sole proprietorship. The shorter name reflected a company no longer defined by one industry.
Clients recognized that Warehouse 5’s combination of audiovisual experience and large-scale technology deployment made the company a natural fit for complex systems integration. Services expanded into corporate and architectural AV, connecting audio, video, lighting, control, networking, and infrastructure into unified systems.
In 2021, the company transitioned from a sole proprietorship to Warehouse 5 LLC and has operated as Warehouse 5 LLC since.
Demand for broader support made full-stack technology operations the new standard. Warehouse 5 expanded to support complete IT environments, including managed devices, cybersecurity, networks, websites, infrastructure, and the everyday technology needs of its clients.
Warehouse 5 brought its network infrastructure services together under RenoTahoeWiFi.com. The offering combines Wi-Fi, low-voltage cabling, fiber optics, firewall security, and supporting network infrastructure into one clearly defined and accessible service.
Today, Warehouse 5 supports organizations ranging from small restaurant groups and RV parks to high-rise buildings, factories, 3PL distribution centers, hotel casinos, and major redevelopment districts. Projects integrate networks, cameras, cybersecurity, data systems, lighting, audiovisual technology, and managed IT under one accountable technology partner.
What began in one specialized corner of live production has grown into a multidisciplinary technology company trusted to support some of the region’s largest and most complex operations, along with clients nationwide.
Weekly field notes
Short reports from the field: what we encountered, what we changed, and what other organizations can learn from it.

A surveillance-room remodel uncovered decades of abandoned cabling above the ceiling and behind the walls, giving us a chance to clear it out and start clean.

Years of unmanaged changes can make a network rack difficult to service safely, especially at remote sites with limited technical support.

A customer-installed cable held in place with Scotch tape still passed qualification well above the touchscreen controller’s needs.
